2022 ISOLATION SESSIONS
Though many musicians have returned to their gigging schedule, at this time it's still not what it used to be. This project was conceived in part to provide some interesting and uplifting work to get through the drier spells. However another reason is that during our multiple remote sessions made in 2020, we began to feel that there was value, quality, and even excitement in this recording method that went beyond "making the best of a bad situation". We felt the recordings were surprisingly compelling, and had a way of bringing out the musicians' personalities that was a worthwhile variation on what they'd do for a classic in-person recording. Thus, even as we got back to something resembling our regular lives, we began work on this, which we intended to be our "last and best" remote recording series. We hope you enjoy it!
